Jacek Dach, PhD, DSc, ProfTit
Head of the Ecotechnologies Laboratory

A member of the scientific board of the Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum (DBFZ) Leipzig (Germany). A member of the scientific board of the Key Laboratory of Clean Production and Utilization of Renewable Energy (CPURE) in Beijing (China).

A specialist in biotechnological processing of waste (through composting and fermentation), troubleshooting and optimization of biogas plant operation, reduction of gaseous and odorous emissions, biomass production, storage and processing, electroremediation, production of biofuels, and modeling of processes with artificial intelligence. A grant holder of projects within the 5th and 6th Framework Programmes of the EU. Participated as a grant holder or researcher in over 30 projects.

A graduate of the Poznań University of Life Sciences in Environmental protection (2011) and of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in Geology (Management of Mineral and Water Resources; 2013). A specialist in biological processing of waste materials, management of digestate and environmental protection. A scientist that gained experience through domestic and international internships, participation in scientific projects and research contracted by industrial partners. A holder of a LIDER programme grant for a project entitled IN OIL: An innovative method for bioconversion of by-products from food processing industry.

A graduate of the Poznań University of Life Sciences in Environmental Engineering (2005) and a scholar at the Humboldt University in Berlin (2003-2004). A specialist in wastewater technologies and co-composting of wastewater sludge. Long experience in construction and design of water and sewage and biogas installations. An expert of the Regional Operational Programme for Wielkopolskie Voivodeship (2014-2020), Coordinator and an Innovation Broker at the Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region.
